Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a Project Director to serve as the DelDOT Client Service Leader, overseeing mega and super mega projects while delivering client value through the firm’s Sophisticated Delivery Approach. You will manage client relationships, contracts, and project controls to ensure objectives are met.

You will lead staffing, pursue major opportunities, and present proposals. A bachelor’s degree with substantial experience is required, with DelDOT experience and professional certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience, including 4 years delivering mega or super mega projects.
• DelDOT experience preferred.
• Master's degree and 20 years relevant experience (preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification and PMP are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and nurtures key client relationships; serves as primary company contact on assigned projects.
• Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
• Responsible for financial performance on projects and managing budgets, schedules, and scope.
• Staffs projects according to the project Work Plan with Directors and Managers.
• Leads pursuits of mega projects and participates in pursuits for super mega projects.
• Oversees staffing, recruitment, development, retention, and performance reviews.
• Leads interview and proposal presentations to the client and industry.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
