Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a Project Director to oversee the operational functions of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Services and Project Controls teams in a heavy industrial and construction environment.

This leadership role requires strategic supervision, cross-departmental collaboration, and a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years in engineering or project management, supervisory experience,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering and/or minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering department or project management.
• Supervisory experience preferred; excellent written and oral communication, mathematical, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and AutoCAD; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily work efforts for Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Services and Project Controls departments.
• Ensures proper flow of information to and from project and that project deliverables are completed and turned over to client per project schedule.
• Keeps adequate staffing per work load needs.
• Interfaces with upper management on business development and departmental matters.
• Ensures Project departments’ work performance efficiency by providing adequate and applicable tools.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
• Performs non-essential duties as needed
