Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Project Design Lead to coordinate design efforts from preliminary through IFC for one or more utility-scale solar PV facilities. You will bridge internal construction and design teams, interfacing with Engineers of Record and third-party consultants to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in design leadership, project engineering, design process management, or design execution.
• Experience in utility-scale solar PV projects and/or renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct multiple third parties to facilitate all aspects of the design from Preliminary/30% through IFC.
• Ensure the project design meets client requirements and safety/industry codes by using Engineers of Record and internal/3rd-party experts.
• Coordinate with Procurement on Bill of Major Materials and ensure approvals are received prior to ordering material.
