Job summary

ICON Technology is seeking a Senior Accountant, Project & Cost Accounting to join the Corporate Accounting team. You will perform day-to-day manufacturing cost and project accounting, including WIP, COGS, and revenue recognition, while building scalable processes to support growth.

The role requires CPA eligibility or current license, 4+ years in cost/project/construction accounting, and NetSuite experience.

Qualifications

4+ years of accounting experience with direct exposure to cost accounting, project accounting, or construction accounting.

Responsibilities

Execute ASC 606 revenue recognition across income streams and prepare contract asset/liability disclosures.
Partner with project managers to assess project status and budget for percentage of completion calculations.
Perform revenue recognition and cost tracking across construction projects using percentage-of-completion methods.
Prepare and maintain project-level P&Ls; identify cost variances and surface margin trends.
Coordinate with project managers and segment leads to ensure financial data reflects operational activity.
Close monthly manufacturing and project accounting workstreams; prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
Oversee labor and cost allocation processes and alignment with FP&A for consistent application.
Prepare supporting schedules for monthly/quarterly financials and assist with audits.
