Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Accountant, Project & Cost Accounting to fortify our Corporate Accounting team as we scale. The role focuses on manufacturing cost and project accounting, including inventory, WIP, COGS, and revenue recognition for hardware and construction projects.

You will partner with Operations and segment leads to translate activity into precise financials. The ideal candidate brings CPA licensure and 4+ years in cost or project accounting, with hands-on ASC 606 experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting with cost/project focus.
• CPA licensure required or actively pursuing.
• Hands-on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience.
• Background in manufacturing, construction, or government contracting is a plus.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Operations and FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Execute ASC 606 revenue recognition across ICON's income streams and disclosures.
• Manage project-level P&Ls and surface margin trends for management.
• Oversee monthly close for manufacturing and project accounting workstreams.
• Design and maintain labor/cost allocation methodologies with FP&A.
• Support audit readiness with schedules and documentation.
