Job summary

Alutiiq is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations in Arlington, VA. The role involves advising on mechanical, electrical, civil, and architectural design reviews, and coordinating schedules and plans for complex facilities projects.

You will work with OBO/FAC management and contractors, develop plans, perform cost analyses, and ensure compliance with building codes and project scopes. A TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters license considered if able to meet all requirements.
• Must have working knowledge of MS Project.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license to operate Mission vehicles.
• Strong graphic/visualization skills with proficiency in AutoCAD and visualization software.
• Experience with project management concepts to oversee planning and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mechanical, electrical, civil and/or architectural engineering design reviews and project planning.
• Develop and review planning documents; evaluate building code compliance.
• Perform peer reviews of plans and technical reports.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses and life-cycle cost estimates.
• Coordinate with DOS personnel and contractors to ensure contract compliance and timely actions.
• Lead planning for complex projects and ensure follow-up on senior leadership decisions.
