Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join our expanding Power Group in Phoenix, AZ, with the option for fully remote work for experienced candidates. The role involves providing PM support across the project lifecycle, mentoring coordinators, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience, a strong grasp of PM concepts, and excellent organizational and communication skills. A background in energy projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree or high school diploma and equivalent experience.
• Advanced understanding of project management concepts.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial math and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and take detailed meeting minutes.
• Create meeting minutes using client approved templates.
• Distribute client meeting minutes within a few business days.
• Track open project resource requests.
• Monitor project schedules.
• Assist with cost proposals and change orders.
• Support project status meetings and compile meeting minutes.
• Communicate updates to team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare project accrual and forecasting reports.
• Utilize project management software for data entry and setup.
• Compile documentation for new and active projects.
• Maintain electronic and hard copy project folders.
• Participate in project audits.
• Maintain internal KPI dashboards and track performance metrics.
