Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP in Los Angeles seeks a Project Specialist III to coordinate medium utility projects, partnering with project managers to move projects into construction and ensure complete documentation.

The role requires 3–5+ years of direct project coordination, with proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Procore, and strong communication to align internal and client teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related; equivalent experience with customer approval.
• 3-5+ years’ experience providing direct project coordination support and/or scheduling support on electrical, civil, and/or gas programs/projects.
• Scheduling, Project Management, or related certifications/training.
• Adept at MS Project, Primavera (P6), Smartsheet, Procore, and/or equivalent tools.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, contractors, land/survey staff, and internal teams.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and maintain data accuracy.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Maintains project logs and records including critical action item lists.
• Creates and maintains filing systems for all documentation.
• Audits project files for compliance; tracks revisions and distribution.
• Monitors engineering and design efforts of the project team.
• Coordinates disciplines to resolve issues and support the schedule.
• Contributes to problem solving and sound recommendations.
• Tracks expediting of designs, materials, and permits to keep schedules.
• Assists with meetings, drafting agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Verifies deliverables and invoices; monitors budget and labor hours.
