Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to apply schedule, cost control, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced design and construction environment. The role supports program delivery through coordination with program management staff and may include managing junior staff.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary capital program environment, leveraging CPM scheduling, cost management, and advanced Excel skills to deliver accurate forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial analysis, budget management, and/or project cost

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Stantec Project Management Framework with PM.
• Provide guidance to PMs for project initiation activities including Oracle setup and sub-contracting.
• Lead internal project management and project forecasting.
• Develop and implement project controls standards and procedures; monitor compliance.
• Prepare reports outlining program/project financial position.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and others in meetings.
