Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Controls Specialist III to manage project controls across multiple projects. The role focuses on cost scheduling, forecasting, and progress reporting, with some travel to project sites as needed.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4–6 years of experience in project controls. AACEi/PMI certifications are preferred. This onsite role may be located in one of several US locations with potential for remote work and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning.
• Certification from AACEi, PMI or related industry institute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compiling job cost and/or planning reports for multiple projects
• Prepare project progress billings
• Prepare client progress updates
• May require some travel to project sites
• Perform performance analysis and forecasting
• Update & Review change management, forecast and progress updates in Viewpoint
• Support project management with project reporting requirements
• Assist/train project management in use of PM/Controls tools
• Works independently on complex assignments
• Other duties as assigned
