Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Controls Specialist III to implement, train, oversee and apply project controls practices across multiple projects. This is an onsite role with potential remote elements and travel to office locations as needed.

Essential duties include compiling cost reports, forecasting, and supporting project management with reporting requirements. The role requires a Bachelor’s in PM/Construction or related field and 4–6 years of experience, with AACEi/PMI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, construction engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning.
• Certification from AACEi, PMI or related institute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile job cost and planning reports for multiple projects
• Prepare project progress billings
• Prepare client progress updates
• May require travel to project sites up to 15%
• Perform performance analysis and forecasting
• Update and review change management, forecast and progress updates in Viewpoint
• Support project management with project reporting requirements
• Assist/train project management in use of PM/Controls tools
• Work independently on complex assignments
• Other duties as assigned
