Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Controls Specialist III to support multiple projects across our renewables and infrastructure portfolio. The role focuses on implementing, training, oversight and applying project controls practices onsite at multiple locations, with potential remote work depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in PM/Construction, 4–6 years in project controls or cost scheduling, and may hold AACEi or PMI certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4-6 years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning
• Certification from AACEi, PMI or related industry institute preferred

Responsibilities

• Compiling job cost and/or planning reports for multiple projects
• Prepare project progress billings
• Prepare client progress updates
• May require some travel to project sites
• Perform performance analysis and forecasting
• Update & Review change management, forecast and progress updates in Viewpoint
• Support project management with project reporting requirements
• Assist/train project management in use of PM/Controls tools
• Works independently on complex assignments
• Other duties as assigned
