Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, and prepare reports for stakeholders to support informed decision making.

The role includes EV management, risk forecasting, and collaboration with project teams. Domestic and international travel may be required, with travel frequency 20%–40% depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts and validate project costs.
• Monitor progress of deliverables and expenditures versus forecasts.
• Prepare client and internal status reports on cost and schedule baselines.
• Perform earned value management analyses and variance reporting.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff on project controls.
