Job summary

Brindley Engineering seeks an experienced Project Controls professional to lead scheduling and project controls across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. You will partner with Clients, Contractors, Project Managers, and field teams to develop, maintain, and report complex project schedules and budgets.

The role requires extensive Primavera P6 expertise, strong data analysis, and earned value management knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of Project Controls, Scheduling, or Construction Controls experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale engineering, infrastructure, industrial, energy, petrochemical, or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering project phases: planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout.
• Experience working with clients, contractors, engineering teams, and field personnel.
• Willingness to travel and work in office and field/site environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and execution activities.
• Develop and implement project controls processes, procedures, and best practices for scheduling, forecasting, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate and consolidate sources of project data into a comprehensive project controls platform for decision-making and execution.
• Establish and maintain baseline schedules, track performance, identify variances, and provide recovery plans.
• Participate in weekly/monthly reviews with clients, contractors, teams, and stakeholders to provide schedule analysis and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and construction to monitor progress and align with milestones.
• Prepare timely, accurate status reports, dashboards, forecasts, and executive presentations.
• Support earned value analyses, schedule risk assessments, change management, and forecasting efforts.
• Ensure schedules are updated and communicated to stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Review and evaluate contractor schedules, progress, and impacts.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to support delivery.
• Provide site support and field verification to validate progress and schedule accuracy.
