Job summary

Pelican Energy Consultants is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to oversee scheduling, cost, and reporting across multiple engineering projects. You will develop resource-loaded schedules, monitor variances, and support project managers to keep work on time and within scope.

The role requires a 4-year degree, up to 10 years of project controls experience, and familiarity with Primavera P6. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential; Primavera and PMI Scheduling certification

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 0–10 years related experience in Project Controls; modern scheduling and cost tools.
• Primavera and PMI Scheduling Professional certifications preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules for multiple projects.
• Monitor budget, cost, and forecast accuracy across portfolios.
• Track progress and issue updated schedules bi-weekly to management.
• Ensure adherence to project controls policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to manage scope.
