Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across locations in the U.S. The role develops schedule and cost baselines, collects and analyzes monthly data, and ensures risk reserves are integrated into forecasts for accurate financial planning.

Responsibilities include Earned Value Management, financial reporting, and collaboration with project teams. Occasional travel and mentoring junior staff are expected within a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience; travel may be required.
• Extensive Earned Value Management and cost/schedule analysis experience.
• Ability to develop and maintain time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and EcoSys for schedule and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and cost baselines.
• Collect, validate and analyze monthly schedule and cost data and variances.
• Prepare earned value reports and client/status communications.
• Monitor risk reserves and incorporate into forecasts and reports.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff and supervise analysts.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and project controls standards.
