Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop and maintain complex schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, identify variances, and assist in root cause analysis.

You will work with project teams, apply Earned Value Management, monitor budgets and forecasts, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety standards while delivering clear status reports to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with earned value management and cost/schedule baselines.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain time-phased cost and schedule baselines.
• Analyze monthly schedule and cost data, identify variances.
• Support risk, forecasting and internal financial controls.
• Perform Earned Value Management reporting for projects.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise engineers on project work.
