Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across locations in the U.S. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, analyze variances, and contribute to forecasting and financial controls.

You will work with project teams, manage Earned Value reporting, monitor resource needs, and provide guidance to junior staff while ensuring compliance with internal and government procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Performs Earned Value Management and variance analysis for multiple projects.
• Monitors progress and prepares client/internal status reports on cost and schedule.
• Provides guidance and training to junior staff; may supervise junior engineers.
