Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Controls Specialist III to implement, train, and oversee project controls practices across multiple projects. Location is onsite with options for remote work and travel to various office sites in the US.

The role emphasizes cost control, forecasting, and client progress updates in Viewpoint, with a strong teamwork focus. Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years in project controls, a related bachelor's degree, and PMI/AACEi certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PM/Construction or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in project controls, cost scheduling or planning.
• Certification from AACEi/PMI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile job cost and planning reports for multiple projects.
• Prepare project progress billings and client progress updates.
• Travel up to 15% to project sites as needed.
• Perform performance analysis and forecasting.
• Update and review forecast, change management and progress updates in Viewpoint.
• Support project management with reporting requirements.
• Assist/train PMs in PM/Controls tools.
• Work independently on complex assignments.
