Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Project Controls Specialist III to oversee controls practices across multiple projects. Located onsite with travel to various offices, the role supports project reporting, forecasting, and client updates, using Viewpoint and related PM tools.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years in project controls or cost scheduling, a PM/Construction management background, and a PMI/AACEi preference. This position emphasizes safety, collaboration, and independent complex work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning
• AACEi/PMI certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Compile job cost and progress reports for multiple projects
• Prepare project progress billings
• Prepare client progress updates
• Travel to project sites as needed
• Perform performance analysis and forecasting
• Update and review forecast, change management, and progress updates in Viewpoint
• Support project management with reporting requirements
• Assist/train PM in use of PM/Controls tools
• Work independently on complex assignments
• Other duties as assigned
