Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Project Controls Specialist III to drive project controls across multiple projects. The role includes implementation, training, oversight and ensuring adherence to controls practices for diverse operational groups.

The position is onsite with several U.S. locations; remote options may be considered with travel to offices. Requires 4–6 years in project controls and Excel proficiency; travel up to 15% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning.
• Certification from AACEi, PMI or related industry institute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compiling job cost and/or planning reports for multiple projects.
• Prepare project progress billings.
• Prepare client progress updates.
• May require some travel to project sites.
• Perform performance analysis and forecasting.
• Update & Review change management, forecast and progress updates in Viewpoint.
• Support project management with project reporting requirements.
• Assist/train project management in use of PM/Controls tools.
• Works independently on complex assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
