Job summary

Hargrove seeks a Project Controls Specialist to plan and schedule complex heavy industrial projects from its Angleton area operations. You will monitor costs, estimate project needs, and maintain cost reporting with a focus on safety and efficiency across multiple contract packages.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating, familiarity with Primavera P6 and Timberline Estimating, and strong communication with engineering teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification: AACE International or PMI certification is preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Developing schedules and analysis for contract packages to forecast construction activities and identify coordination issues.
• Developing, monitoring and updating schedules via meetings and field verification.
• Understanding Earned Value and Project Productivity.
• Monitoring change notices and facilitating hearings and meetings.
• Developing construction cost estimates and maintaining cost reporting systems.
• Assisting clients and teammates with constructability and logistics considerations.
• Quantities analysis support for ongoing activities and estimates.
