Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to plan and schedule heavy industrial projects in our Angleton office. You will monitor costs, estimate activities, and support contract strategies across multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating, with strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and Timberline Estimating. AACE/PMI certification is preferred and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AACE International or PMI certification preferred.
• 10+ years of industrial planning, scheduling, cost control and estimating experience.
• Strong attention to detail and effective cross-disciplinary communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and analysis for contract packages and forecast construction activities.
• Update schedules through meetings, field verification, and coordination interviews.
• Understand Earned Value and project productivity.
• Maintain change notice management and facilitate related hearings.
• Develop construction cost estimates including change notices.
• Maintain cost reporting systems and reconcile commitments/invoices.
