Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Project Controls Specialist to join the Project Management Center of Excellence. The role supports Project Managers by applying Earned Value Management, building and maintaining project controls tools, and driving continuous improvement within NuScale's SMR technology focus.

You will develop schedules in Primavera P6, establish baselines with cost and schedule data, and generate status reports with EV metrics.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in project planning/scheduling and project controls.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 and earned value management.
• Experience in nuclear or similarly complex projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish project controls governance for large, complex projects.
• Develop WBS and control hierarchy; set up in Primavera with resources and milestones.
• Support monthly accruals with Project Accounting; maintain baselines.
• Create, update and publish project status reports with EV metrics and cost forecasts.
• Identify changes, mature trends, gain approvals, and adjust baselines.
• Mentor junior staff within the project controls group.
