Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead internal and external projects around NuScale’s Small Modular Reactor technology. You will oversee cross‑functional teams to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets, including licensing, supply chain readiness, and plant operations.

The role requires 5+ years of project management experience, a STEM degree, and familiarity with PMI/EV practices; DOE 10 CFR Part 810 eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ full-time project management experience.
• Knowledge of PMI PMBOK principles and processes (required).
• Experience with Earned Value Management (ANSI EIA-748-C) (required).
• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810 (Industry requirement).

Responsibilities

• Manage overall planning and execution of project activities for assigned projects.
• Document/maintain baseline, EV planning, and project execution strategy in a PM Plan.
• Identify/resolution of project problems; escalate when necessary.
• Provide weekly/monthly status reports with EV metrics, schedule and cost risk mitigations.
• Coordinate with management to assign work package managers and resources.
• Develop/maintain project-specific plans and procedures for efficient execution.
• Evaluate/oversee subcontracted service providers supporting project objectives.
• Ensure high quality and timely completion of tasks.
