Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Manager, Project Controls for power generation projects in Houston.

You will lead the integrated project controls effort to provide accurate cost, schedule, progress, resources, risks, changes, cash flow, and forecast outcomes within Enerflex’s matrix organization. You will oversee governance, dashboards, and reporting, with a focus on delivering timely insights to project leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree plus 10 years’ experience, or 14 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or Engineering in EPC/EPF oil and gas.
• Flexible in working with a growth-oriented organization, either in a team or independently.
• Preferred experience with SAP and other ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Controls Management Plan, governance, calendars, procedures, systems, dashboards, and reporting.
• Maintain standardized Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
• Manage project staffing plans and resource requirements.
• Maintain employee onboarding, mentoring, and training programs.
• When assigned, assist with interviewing Project Controls candidates and provide hiring recommendations to hiring manager(s).
• Implement and promote continuous improvement of departmental policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
• Prepare and support presentation of weekly and monthly project reports for clients and management, as required.
• Promote Safety and Quality initiatives.
• Support Project Management and the Power Generation Product Lines as needed.
