Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. in Houston is seeking a Power Generation Controls Engineer responsible for programming Power Generation Systems and providing operational support for Enerflex power generation packages. You'll work closely with control designers, approve wiring diagrams and commission systems at customer locations.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation and 2-4 years of experience are required. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in commissioning Power Generation and/or Medium Voltage systems.
• Travel may be required, up to 25%.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support control designers in developing wiring diagrams.
• Commission and service Enerflex designed power generation systems.
• Model and champion Enerflex core values.

Skills

Electrical trouble shooting skills

Knowledge of NEC code

Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Working knowledge of various electrical components

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Education

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Instrumentation discipline
