Job summary

RES is seeking a Project Controls Manager II for our Denver-area projects. The role focuses on cost tracking, forecasting, contract management, and change order control across BOQ projects in energy sectors including solar and transmission.

The position partners with Construction Project Management to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. Travel is expected 30–50% to project sites; hybrid work model requires at least 3 days in office when not on site.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, construction management, accounting or equivalent.
• 7+ years in project controls/commercial management; construction exp is a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost control processes including budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
• Administer contracts and subcontract management; process change orders.
• Support project managers with reporting and cost data; develop weekly/monthly cost reports.
• Assess schedule impact on cost control; identify risks and contingency needs.
• Coach and mentor project controls staff and align with site teams.
