Job summary

Zachry is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead Planning, Cost, Scheduling, and Change Management for EPC projects across the United States. You will drive accurate progress measurement, earned value, cost tracking, and reporting, aligning with corporate processes and client expectations.

This role requires 8+ years in project controls with leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 10+ years relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field with 8+ years industry experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of project controls leadership experience.
• 8–10+ years of project controls in engineering, procurement, or construction environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planning, Cost, Scheduling, and Change Management teams and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Oversee staffing, performance reviews, talent planning, and employee development.
• Ensure accurate project progress measurement, earned value tracking, and cost code time-charging.
• Oversee weekly and monthly cost reporting, including projections and variance analysis.
• Verify scheduling RBPs and SOPs are implemented; ensure baselines are maintained.
• Present at cost reviews, client meetings, change order meetings, and audits.
