Job summary

Ivanhoe Electric Inc. seeks a Manager of Project Controls to lead the integrated controls system for the Santa Cruz Copper Project. You will ensure cost, schedule, risk, change, and progress measurement align with readiness milestones and governance.

The role supports a hybrid IPT delivery model and reports to construction leadership, advancing baseline integrity and forecasting while coordinating with contractors and field leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction and capital project experience.
• Underground or heavy civil construction exposure.
• Experience establishing project controls systems early in projects; project set‑up from pre‑construction preferred.
• Owner-side or EPCM major project experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up the project controls framework and confirm readiness prior to major construction spend.
• Maintain alignment of WBS, budgets, schedules, progress measurement, and reporting structures.
• Prepare formal readiness assessments and flag structural gaps to leadership.
• Implement and maintain an integrated system of project truth across cost, schedule, risk, change, and documents.
• Lead the project controls team with clear roles, standards, and accountability.
• Integrate procurement, contracting, and logistics into baselines and reporting.
• Ensure auditable, compliant performance reporting for decision making.
