Job summary

InnoActive Group in San Bruno, CA is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead a team of analysts on complex capital programs. You will provide leadership across cost, schedule, and reporting functions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and governance.

The role requires deep Primavera P6 expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record of delivering on-time, on-budget results within fast-paced project environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in project controls, project management, scheduling, cost controls, or construction project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or providing technical oversight to Project Controls Analysts or other professionals.
• Experience supporting large-scale capital, infrastructure, utility, construction, or similarly complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 is required.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to develop and motivate team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate performance, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Project Controls providing day-to-day direction, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
• Oversee project controls activities across multiple workstreams, including design, procurement and construction.
• Review and validate project forecasts, reports, cash flow, dashboards, and other deliverables for leadership.
• Monitor project performance and identify risks, issues, and improvement areas.
• Provide insights to stakeholders based on project performance data.
• Lead controls discussions during reviews and executive meetings.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and client stakeholders to align on execution.
• Establish and maintain project controls processes, reporting standards, and best practices across the team.
• Ensure controls documentation and reporting comply with requirements and standards.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
