Job summary

CDM Smith is excited to announce a Senior Project Controls Specialist role to support construction projects across the United States. You will develop moderately to highly complex schedule and cost baselines, collect and analyze monthly data, and provide variance analysis and risk-informed forecasts to stakeholders.

You will implement financial controls, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with project managers and leadership while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5 years of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts and validates costs.
• Generates earned value reports and performs variance and risk analyses.
• Maintains schedule progress and productivity assessments for multiple projects.
• Communicates status and forecasts to stakeholders using standard reports.
• Provides guidance to junior staff and may supervise engineers.
