Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. You will develop and maintain moderately to highly complex schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, identify variances, and assist in root-cause analysis.

The role ensures risk reserves are integrated into forecasts and reports to stakeholders. You will guide project teams in implementing financial controls, coordinating with management, and applying Earned Value Management.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, budgets, planning and control.
• Understanding project finance, accounting or business administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated critical path schedules for major projects and portfolios.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports and discuss findings with project managers.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
