Amgen, a global leader in biotechnology, seeks a Senior Manager of Project Controls to oversee cost, schedule, and risk management for a portfolio of capital projects at the New Albany, Ohio site. The role partners with Engineering Technical Authority, Project Management, Facilities, and Global Site Engineering to ensure accurate forecasts and strong cost control across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with extensive capital projects delivery experience.
• Associate’s degree with substantial engineering/capital projects delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience in project controls is acceptable.
• Master’s degree plus relevant experience is advantageous.
• Doctorate with relevant experience is acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Manage project controls from funding through close-out with strict process compliance.
• Develop project strategies and financing in collaboration with leadership.
• Coordinate with Front-End Planning for conceptual estimates and schedules.
• Negotiate pricing and review bids with subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor progress, evaluate forecasts, and address delay claims.
• Prepare monthly cost and status reports for senior management.
