Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Controls Manager in Charlotte, NC, to lead a small team of Project Control Specialists and Schedulers within the Resources Business Group. The role focuses on budget/schedule development, reporting, and pro-active issue resolution to ensure program success.

You will establish control frameworks, manage change procedures, and deliver financial dashboards using Excel and EBS. Strong leadership and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project controls on engineering/construction projects.
• Ability to develop budgets/schedules and provide reports.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish procedural framework for reporting variances and controls.
• Manage adherence to project controls practices and change management.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and report to staff and client.
• Lead coordination meetings and review change documentation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
