Job summary

HDR in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Industrial Project Manager to lead multi-discipline teams through the full project lifecycle within the Resources Business Group. You will drive delivery across development, initiation to close-out, manage budgets, and mentor staff to ensure quality execution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years PM experience and strong communication, organizational, and software skills. Local candidates preferred; full-time on-site position in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software.
• Strong ability to interact with various design teams and excellent organizational, project management and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Take responsibility for large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations and participate in meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload across the project life cycle and ensure deliverables are on schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work to meet budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic reviews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Supervise large project staff and mentor other Project Managers.
