Job summary

You will collaborate with designers, contractors, inspectors and clients to keep projects on schedule and on budget. The role emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to project controls standards, and proactive KPI development within HDR's employee‑owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in project controls on engineering and construction projects.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for team collaboration and client interaction.
• Experience with change management, cost control, scheduling and reporting procedures.
• Ability to develop and monitor KPIs and communicate variances to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using scheduling software, preferably Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce project controls practices and procedures for change management and records management.
• Partner with designers, contractors, inspectors and third parties to resolve variances in scope and pricing.
• Establish procedural framework for preparing, reporting and reconciling variances.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators and report to project staff and clients.
• Lead coordination meetings across business groups.
