Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across locations in the U.S., including Massachusetts. You will develop cost and schedule baselines, analyze variances, and integrate risk reserves into forecasts.

You will work with project teams, prepare earned value reports, and ensure compliance with internal and government procedures. The role also offers mentorship of junior staff and involvement in large-scale infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate project costs.
• Generate earned value reports and perform portfolio analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
• Mentor junior staff and may supervise engineers on project work.
