Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across multiple locations in the United States. You will develop schedules and cost baselines, analyze variances, and help manage financial forecasts within risk reserves.

You will collaborate with project teams and management, prepare client and internal status reports, and apply Earned Value Management to monitor performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years related experience ideal.
• Strong knowledge of project management, budgeting and scheduling.
• Experience with Earned Value Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; update as needed.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports; discuss findings with PM.
• Perform variance, risk and profit/loss analyses for projects.
• Maintain financial controls and forecasting techniques across programs.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure proper document management.
