Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, and integrate risk into forecasts to guide project decisions.

You will generate earned value analyses, collaborate with project teams, and help ensure adherence to controls, procedures, and safety standards while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in project controls.
• Experience with government or federal compliance is a plus.
• Domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Create and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Prepare and discuss earned value reports with project managers and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contract requirements.
