GFT, a privately held AEC firm, is seeking a Senior Project Controls Lead to oversee a major transit/rail program in New York. The role blends cost, schedule, risk, and construction progress into an independent client-facing assessment and a strategic, owner-side perspective.

You will coordinate with schedulers, risk, change management, commercial, and technical leads, translating complex data into concise recommendations for executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in project controls or related major infrastructure.
• Cost estimating and/or cost controls on projects >$120M.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating and cost development.
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling with Primavera P6.
• Experience with client-facing leadership and owner-side perspective.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated project controls interface with client and contractors.
• Evaluate cost, schedule, and change impacts on major infrastructure.
• Integrate cost, schedule, risk, and progress into owner-side assessments.
• Engage with contractors to understand forecasts and recovery strategies.
• Deliver project-controls briefings to client and executives.
• Support disciplined schedule-driven management and contractor engagement.
