Job summary

K&A Engineering is looking for a Project Controls Specialist in Berlin, CT. You will manage schedules and baselines across transmission, capital, and distribution projects, ensuring accurate cost data and timely reporting.

You’ll collaborate with project teams, perform cost forecasting, and support PMIS implementations while maintaining strong financial controls and clear stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Construction Management; 10 years of relevant experience recommended.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with utility capital investment business models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage project schedules for Transmission Organization: Capital, Maintenance and Distribution projects.
• Provide cost control, baseline management, and forecasting for project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Permitting teams to ensure proper resource loading and scheduling.
• Prepare and present project status, risks, and performance to management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to PMIS improvements and ensure proper cost allocations and WBS coding.
