Job summary

F.E. Moran Group of Companies in the Chicagoland Area seeks an experienced Senior Project Controls Specialist to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for nuclear power generation projects.

You will interface with project management, client management and site personnel to ensure detailed schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction scopes. The ideal candidate has proficiency in Primavera P6 with resource loading, strong MS Excel/Access skills, and meticulous attention

Qualifications

• Requires prior project controls experience with scheduling.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 including resource loading.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate: Develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices.
• Analyze: Perform critical path analysis and report deviations from baseline.
• Document: Produce look-ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports.
• Advise: Provide updates and manage schedule contingencies and risks.
• Accounting functions: Support month end closing and phase gate processes.
• Organize: Ensure standardized file locations for schedule documents.
• Communicate: Interact with team to understand project requirements and goals.
• Travel: Potential travel to client offices for coordination meetings.
