Brunel is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead a large controls team on high‑risk mining capital projects in Bagdad, AZ. The role covers cost, schedule, risk, and progress reporting from FEED to operations, with a hands-on approach and cross‑functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in project management, 8+ years in a leadership role in project controls, and proficiency in Primavera, SAP, and EcoSys, along with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field with 12+ years in project management.
• At least 8 years in a leadership role within project controls.
• Alternative: High School diploma with 16 years in engineering/construction and leadership in project controls.

Responsibilities

• Guide and resolve complex project control issues with strong analytical review.
• Prepare reports and presentations for project management and executives.
• Identify scope changes and schedule slippages and advise mitigations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contracts and construction teams.
• Oversee baseline cost, schedule, and progress processes.
• Mentor and lead a large project controls team and manage staffing.
