Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Project Cost Engineer for a long-term contract in Bagdad, Arizona. The role involves project management support including cost and schedule analysis, oversight of contractor performance, and compiling reports. Candidates should have extensive experience in project controls, with senior-level qualifications preferable.

Qualifications

• 11 years’ experience in engineering, construction, project controls or business-related field.
• 6 years of experience in a senior role in project controls or 4 years of experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and specialized assistance for resolution of project control problems.
• Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts project status against baseline schedule.
• Assesses design or construction changes and associated impacts on cost and schedule.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to multi-task in a high paced project environment

Education

High School diploma or GED with eleven years' experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related fields with seven years' experience
