Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, and integrate risk reserves into forecasts.

You will generate earned value reports, perform variance analyses, and support financial controls and forecasting techniques while mentoring junior staff. Travel 20%–40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5 years of related experience typical.
• Equivalent direct experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with project controls in large/complex projects is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates costs.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports; discusses findings with PM.
• Monitors schedule progress and resource productivity; supports forecasting.
• Mentors junior staff; may supervise engineers on project work.
