Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction programs across multiple U.S. locations.

You will develop moderate to highly complex schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly schedule and cost data, identify variances, and assist in root-cause analysis while integrating risk reserves into forecasts. You will collaborate with project teams and management, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; five years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and cost/schedule forecasting.
• Proven ability to develop and manage complex schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased cost and resource forecasts; validate project costs.
• Maintain integrated critical path schedules for large projects.
• Generate and analyze EV reports; discuss findings with project managers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
