Exelon is seeking an experienced estimator in Maryland to prepare Phase 1–3 cost estimates for substation, transmission, distribution and gas projects. The role involves field walk downs, data consolidation and continuous improvement of estimation methods.

You will work with Project Managers and engineers to challenge estimates, track KPIs, and maintain cost databases. A Bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of experience are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, financial or technical field.
• 4–7 years of relevant estimating experience.
• Ability to build high level or detailed estimates from designs/scope.
• Strong interface with management and stakeholders.
• Experience with design drawings and construction prints.

Mansioni

• Develop phase 1–3 project cost estimates in WBS format with assumptions.
• Conduct forecasting, variance analysis and KPI tracking.
• Develop unit cost and parametric estimates; update regularly.
• Facilitate estimate review meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare contractor estimate/bid analyses and lessons learned.
• Support project managers to ensure understanding of estimates.
