The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking a Project Controls and Management Department Manager to lead scheduling, budgeting, and controls for major construction programs at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. You will oversee staff, improve project controls processes, and ensure schedules align with budgets and forecasts.

The role requires extensive experience in construction project controls, strong leadership, and the ability to work with senior management to deliver

Qualifications

• Nine years of progressively responsible experience in construction project scheduling and estimating.
• Three of the nine years must include supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff that analyzes, appraises, and forecasts schedules; conducts cost estimating; performs management information functions; and executes general administrative tasks.
• Reviews and improves project controls from budgeting through construction.
• Develops and maintains a cost/schedule control system.
• Monitors and tracks project schedules.
• Negotiates or helps negotiate change orders.
• Develops and maintains project controls policies and procedures.
• Provides reports on project progress relative to schedules and budgets.
• Serves as Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR).
