Job summary

PMA is seeking a Project Controls professional at multiple levels to support cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting for projects at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). This senior-level role requires independent management of complex programs and effective collaboration with project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or scheduling.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM), including CPI, SPI, EV, PV, and AC analysis.
• Experience with change management, including evaluating cost and schedule impacts.
• Experience developing executive dashboards and client reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, or PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project cost control processes, tools, and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain detailed cost estimates; analyze variances, trends, and forecast impacts; and provide recommendations to optimize budget performance.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze EPC project schedules using Primavera P6, applying scheduling best practices, earned value principles, baseline management, forecasting techniques, and corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Create and deliver clear, actionable cost and schedule reports for internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, performance trends, risks, and key insights.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with budget and schedule objectives while supporting project execution and client engagements across multiple industries.
• Drive continuous improvement within project controls through process enhancements, advanced use of cost and scheduling tools, mentorship and knowledge sharing, business development support, and proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
